POSITION: OPERATION HERO PROGRAM FACILITATOR
PART TIME: 12-15/wk

Position Summary:
The Operation Hero Facilitator is responsible for the implementation of the Operation Hero program and the direct supervision of school-age children. This position models and teaches the Armed Services YMCA’s values and ensures military youth, grades K-6, are provided fun and meaningful activities to promote learning and caring of others. The 29 Palms ASYMCA program provides 2 tracks to this program: an Art Track and Sports Track. Candidate must be able to provide instruction on both tracks.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday, 1.0 hour of prep and 2.0 hours of teaching each day for an estimated total of 12 hours per week. The offering typically follows the district school year calendar.
